Class GUID

In the WinUSB example on this site's example program, the ClassGUID is 36FC9E60-C465-11cf-444553540000. The connected device appears in the Universal Serial Bus controllers section of Device Manager. This particular ClassGUID seems to be for USB devices such as Hubs etc, and specifically excludes peripheral devices. I cannot find any documentation as to weather there is a specific ClassGUID for the custom class. Some microchip devices seem to be using a503e2d3-a031-49dc-b684-c99085dbfe92 and that appears as a Custom USB device, however I cannot find any documentation that indicates if that is an official designation. I have looked front to back in USB Complete and on line for the info. I have found some tables online however they do not list the Custom Class at all. Where can I find more info about this ??
