Hello.
I am new to USB design and development.
I am student in computer hardware engineer.I want to design new circuit  and connect it to USB port of my computer and communicate data with it.
Am I need to pay fee to get vendorID and ProductID for my small university project or not?
can I develop my USB project without paying money for getting VendorID or not?
Are there exist alternative way?
Is vendorID needed for personal project (like my project)?
