hello
PLZ help!!!
am using spp mode parallel port and i want to use data bins as input reading from ADC
i know that i must set bit 5 of control register =1 for input
but that dont work it read last data written to data register !!!
PLZ help

sir,
    i download inpout32.dll and paste the .dll file into c:\windows\system32(for windows xp). But it not working. I try to register with regsvr32 command in dos prompt. But it give "dllregisterserver entry point was not found" error. How i slove this problem? I use in vc++.
 please reply me.

You don't have to register the DLL. What happens when you try to use it? Be sure you're using the version from logix4u:

how i register the inpout32.dll. After register this dll file can i access the printer (parallel port) by out32 or inp32 function in vb 6.0 or vb.net in windows xp environment.......... suman dutta

My Parallel Port Complete book has some examples:

A web search on

parallel port sensor circuit

will bring up some ideas. If you know what you want to sense, it might help to add that to the search (light, temperature, etc.)
